Relaxation room for students and teachers during exam period

Posted on: 5th Jun

The Art Room in the Student Support Centre has been turned into a relaxation area for the next few weeks, providing a quiet place for both students and teachers to visit during the exam period. Fitted with comfy sofas to relax in, a soothing water feature and containing tips on how to unwind, it provides a place for students to  come to for a moment of quiet reflection, or to just have a break.

Headteacher, Mr Prosser said: “We realise that the exam period can be stressful for our students, so we have created this space in a quieter area of the school where students can go - either alone or with their friends - and take a break.  With busy revision schedules and exam timetables in place, it is important for our students to make time to relax, and having had a relaxation room in place for the last few years, we know that it is beneficial.”
