Welcome to the Exam Team at The Downs School. We ensure that all students are correctly advised and prepared for their exams. You will find all official information on this page and further announcements as the year progresses.
All students are welcome to drop in to the exam office for any advice or they can contact exams@thedownsschool.org to speak to Miss Pearce. You will find us next to Reception.
The school will make every effort to ensure that our students receive the best possible preparation for their exams, that the administrative arrangements run smoothly, and that exams are conducted in a way that will cause as little stress as possible and help our students achieve their best. Parents and carers have an important part to play, for example by ensuring that students arrive at school in good time for exams and that they have had something to eat.
Please note that the Examinations Office will be closed for the Summer Break from Thursday 23 July and will reopen on Thursday 3 September with the exception of the A Level and GCSE result days set out above.
Although emails will be monitored over the Summer Break, this will not be daily, and we will only be dealing with priority work relating to exam results and/or processing priority Review of Results for A Level results. All other enquiries will be reviewed and dealt with when we return in the Autumn term.
We wish you all the best on the day and hope you get the result you have worked so hard to achieve.
