On Friday 28 June, we held a charity bake sale at lunchtime to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

All of us have had family members and family friends who have been affected by cancer in recent years and our mums are currently training to hike a marathon to raise money for Macmillan. This bake sale was our way of helping our mums to raise as much money as possible for this wonderful cause.

We all baked lots of cakes and were so impressed by the number of other students and staff who brought in cakes for us to sell too. We aimed to raise £50 but, on the day, we managed to raise a magnificent total of £172.52!

We would like to thank everyone who brought in cakes, helped to sell them and helped to eat them!
