HELP Needed:

We need to raise £5,633 by the end of August to replace the vital pool dosing system at The Downs School. If we reach this target, Sport England will match the remaining costs, helping us keep the pool open for everyone.

The dosing system is essential equipment that safely controls and distributes the chemicals needed to keep our pool clean and safe to swim in. Without it, we cannot open the pool in September.

This pool is more than just a school facility. It supports swimming lessons for our students, after-school clubs for local children, SEN provision, well-being swims and holiday clubs for the wider community.

The cost covers the new equipment, installation and labour. We know that we need to sometimes ask for support, and we never do so lightly. But if every student’s family gave just £5, we could reach the total in time. And if any business wishes to donate, this is equally welcome.

Our Business Team has worked incredibly hard to get the very best quotes and make sure every donation is used wisely. We are proud to have secured match funding from Sport England, who invest in projects that keep communities active and support grassroots sport.
