We had a very successful Open Evening last Thursday, with the school packed full of prospective students and their parents coming to experience all The Downs School has to offer.

The Headteacher's two presentations were packed and our students excelled themselves acting as tour guides to show parents and students around, and within the classrooms running demonstrations and telling prospective students about their subjects.

Highlights of the evening included tasting a selection of the food available from our chefs in The Downs Diner, hearing our fantastically talented students playing a selection of musical instruments for parents, seeing the amazing artwork of our students with the Art Faculty and the various displays in Science including dissections and the 'screaming jelly baby' experiment.
