Year 7 played their final two matches of the season this week, games against Kennet School and a friendly against Park House.

We were aware of the challenge we faced against Kennet, a team who had been unbeaten for the entire season, but went into the game with great enthusiasm and determination. After conceding an early try, we defended well for the rest of the half, dominating possession. The score was 0-5 at the half. We got into our stride in the second half but a quick breakthrough saw Kennet score again. After some more fiercesome defence we ended the game losing 0-10. It was a great effort from all the boys and we look forward to playing them again next year.

Our second game of the night was against Park House who we had already beaten this season. We started off slow, but in the 2nd half scored 3 trys to win the game 20-0 and end the season on a high.
