Year 7 COEN students take part in Big Garden Bird Watch

Posted on: 15th Jan

A Year 7 COEN class have been very busy making bird feeders. The group are participating in the 'Big Garden Bird Watch', using their feeders to encourage more birds into their gardens at home, and keeping count of how many and the different type of birds that visit.

The students really enjoyed the process, once they had got over the feeling of putting their fingers into melted lard!  Students have since messaged teacher Mrs Meijboom with photos of their bird feeder in their garden and birds have been flocking to them already.
