Supporting UkrainePosted on: 22nd Mar
Downs student Louis and his brother both decided they wanted to help Ukraine after watching the Russian invasion unfold on the news.
The lads bought a selection of chocolate and blueberry muffins which they decided to sell to East Ilsley villagers in the hope of raising £500; they managed to raise £1,140.
Louis said: “We decided to sell muffins, because let's face it, who is going to say no to a box of muffins?”
The suggested minimum donation per box was £10 with all profits and proceeds going directly to the Disasters Emergency Committee Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal.
Well done boys!
