History GCSE students have just returned from a five day trip to Berlin, Germany, showing students key sites from the Cold War in relation to topic work they are undertaking in the classroom.

The group visited a number of places including Holocaust memorials, the Berlin wall museum and the Sachsenhausen Memorial museum.

Head of Humanities Mr Chris Jones said: “It was a really interesting and busy trip for our students. They were engaged, fantastic and impeccably well behaved and have learned a lot that they can now use in their studies.”
