A Wonderful Afternoon at The Downs School

What a lovely afternoon we had yesterday. Thank you to all the families, neighbours and friends who came along to support our fundraising event. It was great to see so many familiar faces enjoying the sunshine and coming together for a good cause.

We hope you managed to catch up with lots of our staff and volunteers. From the refreshments stall, drinks and wine tent, raffle and tombola to the quiet area and inflatables, the team worked hard to make sure everything ran smoothly. A big thank you to all the parents who gave up their time to help too. Your good humour and support never go unnoticed.

The live music was a real highlight. Our talented students kept us entertained all afternoon with brilliant performances, supported by Miss Brennecke. Thank you to each and every one of them for sharing their talents with us.

Our Raffle prizes were superb this year and we wholeheartedly thank The Greek Table & Welford Park for their generous gifts.

Our amazing site team, led by Miss Brophy, really outdid themselves once again. They kept everything looking great and running without a hitch. Thank you for everything you do behind the scenes.

It was also lovely to have Compton C of E Primary School join us, bringing glitter, goodies and their trademark 'Downsfest' fun. A big thank you to the Friends of Compton Primary for your continued support.
