Help Us Replace Some Very Tired Goalposts ⚽

Our football goalposts have officially reached the end of their playing career. After years of service (and thousands of shots on target… and not so on target), they are ready for a well-earned retirement.

We are raising £9,000 to replace them with four professional-grade goalposts that will serve our students safely and reliably for years to come.

"These goalposts are used every single day, by students of all abilities. Replacing them with professional-grade equipment means safer play, better training and more opportunities for our students to enjoy sport properly. We would be very grateful! " Mrs Miller-Cook, Head of PE

These new goalposts will be used by around 15,000 students over the next 10 years and beyond – in PE lessons, fixtures, training sessions and those all-important lunchtime kickabouts. They are a proper investment in sport, wellbeing and teamwork for generations of pupils.

And yes… it feels only right to mention that Theo Walcott, one of our former students, once played on these very pitches. We can’t promise the new goalposts will create the next England international, but it certainly won’t hurt.
