What a lovely way to start the week! Our focus on wellbeing for all our Teachers and Associate staff is well known at The Downs School, and this week we were awarded a GOLD award from the Schools Impact Awards team. Our Senior Leadership Team have worked intensely to create a solid foundation for all staff to be able to be at their best.

From their website: 'The School Impact Awards recognise and celebrate the positive changes and improvements made in schools, focusing on staff development and student outcomes.

The School Impact Awards are designed to highlight the significant work schools are doing to drive improvement and achieve real change. These awards are manageable and time-friendly, allowing schools to focus on areas of improvement without overwhelming their staff. The awards are structured into two levels: Silver and Gold.

• Silver Level: Schools work towards four benchmarks, allowing them to choose actions that best fit their needs

• Gold Level: This level includes eight benchmarks, providing a more comprehensive approach to school improvement.'
