Music Play Day! Over 50 students joined in at our termly Play Day and performed for us all throughout the day. This event reaches those students who are considering joining the orchestra and showing them that all levels of skill, including beginners, are able to come together to enjoy music.

A particular favourite rendition was 'Pink Pony Club' by Chappelle Roan! Well played everyone! We were all humming this afterwards!

We would also like to remind students and staff that our play days are open to everyone. They are a simple invitation to come along, join in and enjoy making music together, whatever your level of experience.

If you have not taken part before, do consider coming along. It is a good way to get involved and may well encourage you to take part in more of our music events over time.

Shortly, we have our excellent Summer Music Concert, Wednesday, 6 May, at school and we hope you can enjoy The Downs School Orchestra together, with us.
