Well done to all of our students who took part in their Silver The Duke of Edinburgh's Award practice expedition recently.

This continues to be a very popular part of school life, and rightly so. The weekend asked a great deal of students, from careful planning beforehand to working together out on the route. They approached it with maturity and good sense, and it was clear how much they gained from the experience.

Thank you to all of the students for the time and effort they put into preparing for the expedition. Getting to this stage takes commitment.

We are also very grateful to the amazing staff who supported the weekend; The endlessly energetic Mrs Miller-Cook, Mrs Parry, Mrs Keevill and Mrs Jensen. They  give up their free time to guide, encourage and look after students is not a small undertaking, and it makes opportunities like this possible.
