We had a wonderful evening celebrating our Year 11 students at their Prom, held at Newbury Rugby Club on Friday 26 June.

Following the recent GCSE exams, it was a real pleasure to see students dressed up, relaxed and enjoying a very special evening together after such an arduous few weeks of exams.

The evening began in spectacular fashion, with students arriving in all sorts of fun and inventive ways. From tractors, flatbed trucks and motorbikes to limousines, luxury cars, vintage and classic cars, and even a helicopter, there was a great excitement and celebration as friends gathered outside the venue for photos.

Inside, students enjoyed music from the DJ, a finger food buffet, dessert table, photobooth and formal individual and group photography. The photobooth was particularly popular, with students able to take home their own prints as a keepsake from the night.

There were plenty of smiles, laughter and well-earned moments of celebration throughout the evening. It was lovely to see the year group come together and enjoy such a memorable occasion.

Our thanks go to Newbury Rugby Club for hosting us so warmly, and to all staff involved in helping to make the evening run so smoothly.

Thank you to our excellent Year 11 staff who organised and supervised the evening and made sure everyone had a superb time.

We wish our Year 11 students a restful and enjoyable summer as they look ahead to their next chapter.
