Last Friday the whole school set off on our annual 10k Sponsored Walk, and what a day it was. Students from Year 7 right through to the Sixth Form made their way through our beautiful neighbourhood together, with plenty of talking, laughter and a few tired legs by the finish. It is one of the highlights of the school year, a chance for everyone to enjoy a day out together while raising money that makes a real difference to the school.

This year we are raising money for air conditioning units. After the summer we have just had, and with hotter weather becoming more common, keeping classrooms cool enough to learn in comfortably has become a real priority. Every pound raised will help make a noticeable difference to students and staff during the warmer months.

A huge well done to every student who took part, and a heartfelt thank you to all the staff, parents, carers and volunteers who supported, sponsored and helped make the day so special. We are enormously proud of the effort and good spirit everyone showed.

If your child has collected sponsorship, payments can now be made through Arbor. Simply go to Payments, select Sponsored Walk 2026 and choose Top up Account.
