Reflecting back on the Easter break and looking forward to this term

Posted on: 29th Apr

The first week of the new term has flown by, and as we begin the second week, we can look back on activities that happened during the Easter break, and look forward to the term ahead.  Over the Easter holidays some of our Sixth Form students travelled to New York for a Performing Arts trip. Activities included taking in a show, visiting the 9/11 memorial and museum and visiting the Empire State Building. Meanwhile some of our Year 9 students travelled to Italy for a skiing trip, some acquiring new skills on the slopes, and others or brushing up and improving their technique.

The new term began with exams for our Year 10 and A Level Art students, with the countdown to GCSEs starting for our Year 11s, who begin study leave on May 11.  Our Year 7 and 8 students meanwhile have been forward to the Junior Maths Challenge, and as usual we have a huge number of lunchtime and after school clubs running.
